Curfew during the River Run

posted Apr 19, 2018, 1:46 PM by Terri Sutton   [ updated Apr 19, 2018, 2:00 PM ]

There are CRUHSD students who have after-school jobs in Laughlin and may be commuting or working while the River Run curfew is in place.  According to Metro, as long as those students are going directly to/from work/home and the officer can verify that the student works at a specific location, they will be ok.  The students should have their manager’s information with them for verification in the event they are stopped.

Student Fees

posted Apr 11, 2018, 10:19 AM by Terri Sutton   [ updated Apr 17, 2018, 12:15 PM ]

All fees are due by Friday, May 4th, 2018.  The fees can be paid in the MHS Bookstore or online at coloradoriverschools.org thru the "Web Store".  Please note that we do not take credit cards in the Bookstore but you can use a card on the "Web Store".  If you do please, be sure to print out your receipt to prove that the fees have been paid since MHS will not be notified of the payment for some time, otherwise your student might not be able to "walk" with their graduating class due to their account showing unpaid fees

If you received a call

regarding your student being absent one or more periods we were testing April 4th and 5th and will be testing again on April 9th and 10th.   Your students attendance will be changed to reflect the testing.  It is a challenge to complete the change for all of our 1200 students by the end of the testing day so you would not receive a call.  We do apologize and if you have any questions please give us a call.

Trip to Europe 2018

posted Mar 2, 2017, 3:04 PM by Terri Sutton   [ updated Apr 4, 2017, 10:50 AM ]

We are putting together a trip over Spring Break of 2018 to Ireland, Scotland, England and France. So far both student and parent interest has been incredible .  We are excited to have this opportunity to offer our students but, for some the cost of the trip may keep them from participating.

The Educational Field Trip fund was set up for funds to be donated via a tax credit program as well as through simple monetary donations.  With the tax deadline coming up in April, if anyone would like to help our students with this once in a lifetime opportunity, please consider designating your tax credit money to this fund.  If you already have your tax credit money donated to a different club but still want to help out, you can still donate.  Just drop off what ever donation you wish to make with Malena in our Attendance Office.

THANK YOU to those who are planning to donate or have already donated, you will be giving our students a once in a lifetime experience.

Tax Credit forms can be picked up in the attendance office.  For further information please call 928-758-3916.
